Expanding from 15 to 28 miles in 2027!
First bike cabs in North America
Purpose-built cabins carry eight bikes at a time. You roll the bike in whole — nothing comes off, no wheel comes out.
A shuttle day is a couple of runs and a lot of sitting in a van. A cable car day is as many laps as your legs are good for.
The Trails
Six miles of purpose-cut singletrack drop from the summit at 8,800 feet back toward town, through pine and aspen and out onto the open shoulders where the whole canyon is in view.
Rosa Gulch and Morning Star are the flowing ones — bermed, rolling, forgiving of a rider still finding their feet. Ten Day Jacks and Prospector\u2019s Push are steeper and rockier, with the loose decomposed granite this hillside is made of.
Everything is signed at the junctions, and the trail crew keeps working; the network grows every season.
The Fine Print
Owned by Idaho Springs
The park is the City’s, not ours. We sell the ride up; the trail rules are posted at the trailheads and they’re the city’s.
Built for advanced riders
Steep, technical, and not the place to learn. Beginner-friendly trails are currently in the works!
Bring your own
Your bike, your helmet, your judgement. No rentals and no shuttle recovery on site.
Old workings everywhere
Historic shafts and adits all over this hillside. Stay on marked trail. Never enter an opening.
