Miners Point

Quintessential Colorado

Illustrated site map of Miners Point — overlook, Outpost, amphitheater, bike launch and trailheads

Jacksons Diggings

Named for the prospector whose strike started all of this. Younger visitors can dig, sift and pan the way the old-timers did, a short walk from the terminal and in sight of the deck.

Bring a change of clothes if they mean business about it.

Hill Top Summit Trail

Reach the summit of Miners Point on a gentle loop - good for all ages and abilities. Find your spot and enjoy your quiet moment in the mountains.

The Overlook

The striking timber structure juts from the mountainside with a commanding prospect of the surrounding peaks. Mount Blue Sky in the distance and the Clear Creek valley below.

Gold Bar

The Main Level - Just off the High-Road. Order food & drink, find your spot - in or out - and soak in the mountain vibes.

A full kitchen serving elevated mountain fare, an impressive selection of local beer, wine, beverages, and grab&go snacks.

Sun & Moon Saloon

A proper outdoor saloon with a full bar and stage views.

Named after a nearby historic mine. Unleash your inner Prospector after a long shift.

Argo Amphitheater

Cut into the hillside below the Outpost, so the seating steps down the slope and the stage sits with nothing behind it but open air and mountains.

No backdrop, no scrim — the view is the set, and it changes with the light for the whole show. Bring a layer; it cools off fast once the sun clears the ridge.
