The Fine Print

Owned by Idaho Springs

The park is the City’s, not ours. We sell the ride up; the trail rules are posted at the trailheads and they’re the city’s.

You start at 7,655 feet

And the top is over 8,800. Take the climb slower than you would at home, and carry more water than you think you need.

Shared with bikes

Please note most trails are shared with uphill mountain bikers. Sorry, we know it’s not ideal and we’re working on more trails.

Old workings everywhere

Historic shafts and adits all over this hillside. Stay on marked trail. Never enter an opening.
