If you're going to do this make sure youre in line 20 min before your time slot (We arrived at 930 for a 10:00 tour). Otherwise you'll still be in line when its your turn, you'll miss the tour, you'll sit for an hour for the next one, only to be told you missed your tour and the tour you waited for is full. Too bad. So sad. The Manager was the rudest person ive ever met and im from New York. Its really not worth the money. A partial refund for some but a full refund for others? Make it make sense

Looking for a great way to spend 5 hours...amazing views..great staff and atmosphere at the top incredible!!

My dog and I were at the restaurant at the top today when a very nasty thunderstorm came through. My dog was terrified and decided that the hallway outside the restrooms was the only place to hide so we huddled in there, her covered by my jacket, waiting for it to move through. The staff, especially Brandon, was incredibly kind offering a chair, drinks, anything they could do to help and ensured we got on the first shuttle out when the storm cleared. I am so grateful for the kindness and look forward to coming back on a sunny day.

Amazing bike trails, gondola was easy and the prices reasonable. Absolutely beautiful place, and I'll definitely return.

Reminded me of Switzerland where you can take a gondola up the mountain to a restaurant and enjoy a lunch with a view.

The cable car takes about 10 minutes each way. The views are amazing. At the top there is a bar / dining area where you can sit back and relax.

This year, the newst attraction in Idaho Springs, the Mighty Argo Cable Car at the old Argo Mill finally began operating, allowing visitors to enjoy sweeping, unobstructed views of the surrounding mountains from the summit. The cable car was spacious and stable, and when it’s not too crowded, the staff usually arranged for one family per car. The ride wasn't fast, took about 20 minutes to go from the base to the summit. This mountain and the surrounding peaks were mainly covered in evergreens. Although you won’t see the sea of yellow and orange aspen trees, the endless mountain ranges still offered a breathtaking view. At the summit, there’s an observation deck offering a panoramic view of the layered peaks and also a perfect picture spot for the visitors.There were also places to sit down and grab something to eat, nothing fancy though. In addition to the cable car, there were hiking trails for those who were up for the climb, and for mountain bike enthusiasts, there were challenging trails winding along the mountainside. They currently offer a $59.95 combo ticket that included parking, the cable car, the mine tour, and gold panning. Since a cable car ride alone costs $39.95, parking is extra $2 to $4 and the tour of the mine typically costs $32.95, so if you have the time and are interested for the mine tour while you’re there, the all-inclusive combo ticket is much more cost-effective, saving about $20. The Old Gold Mine was a short distance from the Idaho Springs Visitor Center.

We had a great time at the outpost cocktail bar at the top of the gondola, Benjamin was very nice and helpful. Great view at the top to sit and drink a beer

This was a fun excursion close to home. It's a nice new gondola, warming house at the top, etc. Beautiful views. and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

This is a complete and total rip off. $50 a person plus $15 to park??? Get a clue. A family of 4 is $215 to ride a gondola??? Please figure this out because those prices are way to out of control.

The place is awesome! The gondola is probably one of the best I’ve been on and the trails have good flow. I feel charging $61 for a day pass and $15 for parking is a bit excessive especially because the price for the day pass was $35 just the week before. It will probably have more people going there if it was a solid pride so customers can plan the day better financially. Just my 2 cents
